What is ClipGuild

ClipGuild is a two-sided marketplace that connects brands with video creators — called clippers — for performance-based content campaigns. Brands fund campaigns with USDC, clippers create and post clips on social media, and payouts happen automatically based on real, verified performance.

There are no middlemen, no invoices, and no waiting 30 days for payment. When a clip meets its performance targets, USDC flows directly to the clipper's Solana wallet — typically within minutes.

ClipGuild's promise: Every payout is tied to real results. Brands only pay for clips that perform. Clippers only earn when their work delivers.

How It Works

ClipGuild runs on a straightforward cycle. Brands fund campaigns, clippers apply and create content, and the platform verifies performance before releasing payment.

01

Brand creates and funds a campaign

A brand signs up, sets a USDC budget, picks a category, defines key messages, selects target demographics, and chooses platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X). After submitting, they send the USDC budget to the platform deposit address and paste their transaction hash. ClipGuild admins verify the payment and approve the campaign within 24 hours.

02

Clippers apply

Clippers browse active campaigns by category and platform, then apply with a short pitch. The brand or admin reviews applications and approves the clippers they want to work with, up to the campaign's clipper cap.

03

Clippers create and submit

Approved clippers post their clips on the required platform and submit the link through the ClipGuild dashboard. The clip enters a review queue.

04

Verification and payout

An admin reviews the clip and triggers verification. The system checks views, engagement rate, and audience match. If all thresholds are met, USDC lands in the clipper's Solana wallet in seconds. The payout amount is calculated from the campaign's per-1,000-views rate, capped by the per-clip maximum.

For Clippers

Clippers are the content creators on ClipGuild. If you make videos on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or X and want to get paid in USDC for promoting brands you believe in, this is your platform.

Getting started as a clipper

  1. 1Sign up and select the Clipper role during onboarding.
  2. 2Set up your profile in Settings — choose a username (e.g. @yourhandle), add your bio, social links, and Solana wallet address. Your profile URL will be clipguild.com/profile/your-username.
  3. 3Browse the Campaigns page for active campaigns that fit your audience and category.
  4. 4Apply to a campaign with a short pitch. Be specific — brands approve clippers who show they understand the brief.
  5. 5Once approved, create your clip and post it on the required platform.
  6. 6Submit the clip URL through your ClipGuild dashboard.
  7. 7After verification, USDC lands in your wallet automatically. Pin your best clips to your profile to showcase your work.
Tip: Add your Solana wallet address in Settings → Wallet Address before submitting any clips. Without it, your payout will sit as Pending until you add it.

For Brands

Brands use ClipGuild to run performance-based video campaigns across social platforms. You set the budget, define the message, and only pay for clips that deliver real engagement.

After creating a campaign

1

Send your USDC budget

You'll see the platform deposit address and the exact amount to send. Use any Solana wallet to transfer that amount in USDC to the address shown.

2

Submit your transaction hash

Paste the Solana transaction signature into the field provided. This lets the admin verify your payment on-chain via Solscan.

3

Wait for approval

A ClipGuild admin reviews your campaign and deposit within 24 hours. Once approved, your campaign goes live and clippers can apply.

Budget math check: The platform ensures your budget can cover all approved clippers: maxClippers × perClipMax ≤ budget. The form shows you whether this holds before you submit.

Campaign Categories

Every campaign is tagged with a category so clippers can quickly find campaigns that match their audience and content style. Brands choose one category at creation — it cannot be changed after submission.

Payouts & USDC

All payouts on ClipGuild are made in USDC — a US dollar-pegged stablecoin — sent directly on the Solana blockchain. This means:

  • Transactions settle in seconds, not days.
  • Network fees are a fraction of a cent (~$0.0001 per transfer).
  • No payment processor takes a cut — you receive the full approved payout amount.
  • Every transaction is publicly verifiable on the Solana blockchain.

How payout amounts are calculated

Each campaign has a rate per 1,000 views (set by ClipGuild admins at approval, max $3.00) and a per-clip maximum. The payout for each approved clip is:

payout = min(views / 1000 × ratePerThousand, perClipMax, remainingBudget)

If the campaign budget is nearly exhausted, the final clip may receive a partial payout. Campaigns stop accepting new clips once the budget is fully spent.

Supported Platforms

Clips can be submitted from any of the following platforms:

TikTok

Short-form vertical video. Ideal for Gen Z audiences and viral reach.

Instagram

Reels and Stories. Strong for lifestyle, fashion, and consumer brands.

YouTube

YouTube Shorts and long-form. Best for in-depth reviews and tutorials.

X (Twitter)

Video posts and replies. Good for tech, finance, and news-adjacent brands.

Clip Verification

Before a payout is released, every clip goes through a verification step. A ClipGuild admin reviews the submission and triggers the verification process.

Verification thresholds

Views
≥ 1,000

The clip must have been seen at least 1,000 times.

Engagement rate
≥ 2%

Likes, comments, and shares relative to views.

Audience match
≥ 60%

Percentage of viewers who match the campaign's target demographic.

What happens if a clip fails? Clips that don't meet thresholds are marked Rejected. The clipper is notified and the campaign budget is preserved for other clips.

Analytics

The Analytics page gives both brands and clippers visibility into performance. Brands can see aggregate stats across all clips in their campaigns. Clippers can see how their individual submissions have performed.

Metrics shown include total views, engagement rate over time, estimated reach, and payout history. Platform-level analytics (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X) require the respective API credentials to be connected by ClipGuild administrators.

Public Profiles

Every ClipGuild user gets a public profile page at clipguild.com/profile/your-username. It's shareable, SEO-indexed, and accessible without logging in — perfect for clippers showcasing their work to brands or followers.

Set everything up from Settings → Profile Settings in your dashboard.

Setting up your username

Your username becomes your profile URL handle. Once set, your profile is live. Username rules:

  • 3–30 characters long.
  • Lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens only.
  • Cannot start or end with a hyphen.
  • Must be unique across all ClipGuild users.

FAQ

Do I need a Solana wallet to use ClipGuild?
Clippers need a Solana wallet to receive USDC payouts. We recommend Phantom or Solflare. Brands do not need a wallet — they send their budget to the platform deposit address provided after campaign creation.
How long does it take to get paid?
Once an admin approves your clip, the USDC transfer settles on Solana in seconds. The review process typically takes 24–72 hours from submission.
How does the deposit process work for brands?
After creating a campaign you'll see the platform USDC deposit address and the exact amount to send. Transfer that amount using any Solana wallet, then paste the Solana transaction hash into ClipGuild. An admin verifies the payment on-chain and activates your campaign.
How is my payout calculated?
Payouts are based on your clip's view count: payout = (views ÷ 1,000) × ratePerThousand, capped at the per-clip maximum set by the brand. The rate per 1,000 views (max $3.00) is set by ClipGuild admins when the campaign is approved.
Can I apply to multiple campaigns at once?
Yes. You can apply to as many active campaigns as you want, subject to each campaign's approval process and clipper cap.
What if my clip gets rejected?
You'll receive a notification with the reason. You can submit a new clip if the campaign still has budget remaining and you were previously approved for it.
What currencies are supported?
ClipGuild uses USDC on the Solana mainnet exclusively. 1 USDC = 1 USD at all times.
How do I set up my public profile?
Go to Settings in your dashboard and fill in your username, bio, and social links. As soon as you save a username your profile goes live at clipguild.com/profile/your-username — no extra steps needed. It's publicly accessible without login and indexed by search engines.
What information appears on my public profile?
For clippers: your display name, @username, bio, social links, aggregate stats (total views, USDC earned, clips approved, campaigns), featured clips, and all approved clips with their metrics. For brands: name, bio, website, and their public campaigns. Your email address and Solana wallet address are never shown.
How do featured clips work?
You can pin up to 5 approved clips to the featured section at the top of your profile. Go to Settings, scroll to Featured Clips, and click the star icon next to any approved clip to pin or unpin it. Featured clips stand out with a star badge and appear above your full clip list.
How do I change my role from Clipper to Brand?
Contact the ClipGuild admin. Role changes are handled manually to maintain platform integrity.
What is a campaign category?
A category tags your campaign with its content niche (e.g. Gaming, Crypto, Education). Clippers use categories to find campaigns that match their audience. Choose the one that best describes the content you want created.
